Size: 13.9 KB Just got my first Simpson brush! Must say its a work of art! The knot on this puppy is diesel. It produces an amazing lather quite quickly. And the feel of hair like silk on your face.

Congratulations. You have acquired one of the most revered shaving brushes. I found that the CH2 excels at face lathering. I never had much success bowl lathering with it. It's not just the short handle. The brush is so dense that, for me, it does not have optimal flow for bowl lathering. However, when face lathering, there is nothing like the feel of the CH2.

I did a face lather and it is exceptional. I agree that it's to dense for a bowl. At least my bowl as it's not very wide. And thank you I have a great mother who got it for me. I mentioned it in passing and it was waiting on my bday. I'm goin for a rooney next!

I wanted a Chubby 2 but all they had at the time was a Chubby 3 so I reluctantly took a chance on the taller loft. Thing is great. One of the finest brushes known to man.

I have the chubby 3 in the old two band. It makes so much lather no matter what method you use the short handle means your entire hand is covered in lather. I think the two band were smaller than the current three band.

I used TH West Indies Lime for my first shave. I'm new to the lime. But was very satisfied with my shave. Going to use the GT coconut it the TH sandalwood 2mo. I'll post my results these r the creams I use often.

Congrats, not much wrong at all with the Chubby2. Like all say, it is a face lathering delight.

Good brush in three band, I didn't take to the two band of a couple years back and passed it on. Uses a lot of product, but as mentioned a premier face-latherer
