    Yes, it is a richard black brush, with a silvertip knot (i think). John, i think your confusion is that the description is probably taken from the etsy listing, but the OP didnt use "quote marks" around it.

    Yep, as Kurt said, it is a Silvertip knot, the brush maker is named Black.

    Kurt-It looks great "post bloom". Enjoy! Do you happen to know what silvertip knot Richard uses? Just curious?

    You are right. It is a silvertip knot and a Richard Black brush.

    Lince, I don't know who Richard buys his knots from, but if mine is representative, they are pretty high quality. I do not remember it loosing any hairs (although it might have and I wasn't paying attention). Very soft brush.
