Thread: Planning to buy a synthetic for face lathering

Dear friends,

i want to buy a synthetic for face lathering. i have used plisson but handle is not well... Also sometimes leaves skin dry .

first is acetate and resin handles of plisson solid or same with wood one which is empty inside and filled with foam.

Second do you prefer plisson or muhle for face lathering?

3rd if i sticj with muhle what you recommend ? Black hjm 20 mm or stf 2 23 mm or stf 2 25 mm and is the handle made from solid rods or empty?

Now im using simpson ph2 super and ehsan 2 band and looking for something more soft and can keep water and heat close.

I have no experience with a Plisson but I have three Muhles, two Black Fibres and one Silvertip fibre. I face lather exclusively with these three.

I have several decent quality badger brushes which haven't been used for a couple of years. Shows that I like face lathering with the Muhles!
