I have three Thaters all two band and they are all great brushes. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. Though I have to say even with Thater on one of mine the knot fell out.

Gentlemen,
Through the years, I have owned various models of Thater brushes, two-band and three-band, all silvertips, of course, and found them superb in every way. I am down to one Thater now, a 25mm two-band, and find it to be one of the sweetest. The bulb shape is a pleasure for lathering — looks enticing — the backbone is impressive, and the tips are touched by the silk gods.

I might have to try a Thater again. I believe all I ever owned was their 3-band silvertips and I tend to gravitate towards two band brushes. Since they have two-banders out I might have to grab one as its been awhile (years) since I've bought a brush. I can say that their 3-bands were some of the best I've encountered. Thater is definitely a solid company for brushes.

Thanked: 15Gents:
What I like about the thaters are couple things:
The bulb shape in the knot.
The fact that they are real nice packet.
They are the not small not big. They are in the middle.
The price.
Quality overall they are super brushes for the price. If I compare them simpsons, brushes I do have I considered that for the price is better to get a Thater.
Thanks
Ken
