Thanked: 1Anyone used Nicole Pangas bowls or scuttles?
I recently picked up a fantastic shaving bowl from Nicole Pangas' etsy store. I'm curious if anyone else has found and/or tried her work. I know folks on this forum range in preference from "why would you spend any money when you can re-use the morning's cereal bowl?" all the way up to "I'm happy to spend hundreds on a bowl whittled out of a Pharaoh's skull". I think Nicole's work falls in the middle at an approachable $40.
Dimensions:
Holds about 16 oz/ 473 ml
Diameter at rim about: 5.5 in/13.5 cm
Height about: 2.75 in/7 cm
The thumb loop is wonderful for grip, and just wide enough to squeeze your brush handle in if you want to use it to dry or store your brush. The diameter and depth is perfect for lathering, and the ridges on the bottom and sides quickly produce a crazy thick lather. I also love the oil-spot glaze she used. She also does a fantastic series of skull designs that I might have to pick up. Highly recommend her work. Here's a link to her etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/NicolePangasCeramics

Where can I get a scuttle whittled from a pharaoh's skull... gotta have it!!!
That's some beautiful glaze on that bowl. When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

Actually, I never heard of her. I guess you can add her to all the others.
Does she make a scuttle too? The work looks good.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
