Thanked: 12Oppinion on parker WHPB best badger brush
I must admit that I am surprised by the price tag on the parker WHPB in best badger. So, some questions for those that know. First, is it made in china? That's a no go for me. Second, if it is not made in china how does it stack up to other best badger brushes on the market?

I have no experience with that brush, so I can't help you there.
As to where the brush is made, WCS says that it comes from India. When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

I used a parker best for quite a while. It was a nice brush and shed zero hairs. From what I understand most of the badger hair for badger brushes, even high end, come from china.

Thanked: 12Not sure how I feel about "made in India" but $35. for a best badger is a great price point. It's the general lack of pride in craftsmanship that I have a problem with in regards to Chinese products. I am in manufacturing and have personally seen the effects of selling out to cheap production in China. loss of American jobs and an inferior product made by ignorant and unskilled workers. The "any warm body" mentality does not produce quality and as a result I choose not to purchase ANY Chinese products. I'm fairly convinced that their badgers are up to par.
