Thanked: 3222I don't think there is a hate campaign on for the brand. I think it is a mostly overlooked brand in this forum is all. I had a Muhle STF synthetic in XL size that I had HARRYWALLY use the knot from to make a custom brush for me with the loft lowered. I liked the Muhle originally and like the knot even more reset to a lower loft in the custom brush. I also have have one of their Retro silver tip badger brushes. To me that has a huge bloom for the sized knot it is, has a bit if scrtitch/scratch if you are a face latherer and is fairly densely packed. It is very different from my 2 band badger and Manchurian Badger. I like variety and the difference. Neither brush has been a shedder. Here is my initial impression of the retro http://straightrazorpalace.com/brush...ave-brush.html , Nothing much has changed.
If you are referring to the carbon fiber handled brush in your post, I would gag at the price to be perfectly honest.
