Magnificent! You are definitely on to something.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

They are unique and lookers all right. I'd be afraid of breaking one though.

Very nice. A friend of mine blows glass and I always wondering if he would be able to make a handle. I might have to see if he can do it now after seeing these.

Very, very nice.
Just how "breakable" are they?If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Awesome. IM sure they're fairly durable and could even be double walled (inside out)..?

Thanked: 2284Very cool. Only way to get a Simpson knot is to buy one and disassemble it from the handle. If you want a super high grade knot, try shavmac. They're made in house. Virginia Sheng on Ebay also has very nice knots, and dare I say, maybe better than TGN at this point.

Thanked: 5Gents, Thankyou for your compliments and encouragement. Although they are glass, I would not consider them very fragile unless u drop them on a cement floor or carelessly toss them on your marble countertops. HarryWally, I will definitely take your advice and use only the best knots. I think I will make them with and without knots so potential consumers will have a choice.
Thanks to you all,
Jim

Thanked: 2284That was just my opinion on some of the knots you can get these days. As Lynn had said, the TGN grade As and the HMW knots are excellent. I will also add the premium silvertips from a TGN as well. TGN is what a lot of people use for replacement and custom brushes. What I mentioned is some of the others that are comparable.
What you are doing with the glass is awesome. Love the colors too.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....
