SOC boar brush 3 weeks breaking in result
I used my SOC boar brush in Symmetricalpottery shaving bow for 3,5 weeks now, and this is basically the result of breaking in. Just wanted to share it. Have fun.

Thanked: 31True. My 1305 broke in quicker than my SOC. But when the SOC caught up, they're both pretty nice and I find myself reaching for them most of the time. At present I'm breaking in a bunch of Omega brushes for students.

What kind of brush is this Dory? Is this one of your handle modifications?
What makes you unhappy with it? For how long are you breaking it?
I consider my Ω-brushes broken after 2-4 months of usage, depending on how many times I use it in the week.

My dear Slur it's my Semogue SOC, as the title of the thread says.
I have about 11 Boars in my cabinet plus 2 Semogue but those 2 give me the most problems.
Need at least 2 minutes soaking in hot water, lot of soap loading and very easy they won't keep enough lather for the 3rd pass
Too many times the same scene: when it's time for the 3rd pass it's empty and i have to reload again.
Waste ot time, soap and patience,i don't have for spending 6 months of my life and every day use to make a brush to work
Isn't a car's motor,it's just a brush
ALL the other Boars work like an AK,those 2 Semogues like a musket.
