Couldn't find a brush :(
I went out yesterday to some antique shops looking for a new razor. Of the very few that were open, none had anything worthwhile; most being overpriced and/or damaged beyond repair.
Anyway I got home and started looking for a new brush. My current one is an el cheapo best badger that has been doing the job but is losing bristles at a great rate.
Is that normal? To lose bristles?? Or is the knot of poor quality?
I found it hard because I wanted a good quality silvertip but most Australian vendors are very over priced (Australia is like this in general, but some are going even further IMHO).
And further to that I couldn't actually find very many silver tip brushes that really looked nice enough to lash out on.
Is there some kind of secret brush place hiding in the depths of the net I haven't come across, I'd make one myself but I don't know how good it would be.
Currently this one takes my fancy but is a tad pricey unfortunately. I am quite partial to silver and it looks classy enough, and probably can replace the knot when it goes...
Anyway, does anyone here make brushes on request?
