Bobh, thanks for your suggestion, I finally got around to this Simpson Chubby2 synthetic. Wanted something for travel convienience . Well here goes

they didn't have the cool blue one you got but I did get the silver tip.
I am a big fan of the handle, I'll say that up front.
second this brush is soft on the ends, with a great deal of backbone, another plus on my end , cause the brushes I get from my favorite grumpy old guy I. California and my metal master inKansasCity set the loft low For that stiffer backbone

it took 4-5 days for me figure out the water ratios, been using badger for a long time ,over 30 years. So it was a difference In Building my normal,lather.
i got it now and I,m finishing my shaves with enough lather that is still thick, rich , with lots of glide. I stayed with MDC throughout to stay true to the testing

my opinion, and as always YMMV, great brush and it'll stay in my travel bag , and it does dry extremely fast. Thanks for reading , Bob had me interesting so much I just had to get it. Tc
