    Yes, it does appear that old dawgs can learn new tricks. Size and loft sound pretty good to me but I like lower lofts in synthetics. I mean lower than most production brushes seem to be set at. Muhle STF V2 brushes run 56mm loft for a 23mm knot and 62mm loft for a 25mm knot. I had the 25mm knot reset to 54mm and it felt a lot better to me.
