What about something like a 2 razor, brush, bowl/mug stand?
    Maybe with a matching bowl?

I have some design ideas, but need to know parameters. Thanks!
I believe the knot is either 24 or26 mm.
    1 razor would be fine.
My wife gave me a beautiful Japanese tea cup designed for the japanese tea ceremony for my shaving mug a couple of years ago and I don't want her to feel slighted so I'll have to say no to the matching bowl.

    Thank you,

In short I want something that looks like an antique or is a very subtle work of art!!
FWIW, here is a picture of the stand I made with the same basic idea in mind. I'm not kidding myself into thinking anything like this existed in some historic past, but I just wanted to make something that expressed my old style. It works for me. The brush is a 24mm knot in a handle I made. The scales on this razor are another story, but have a Windsor chair flair (again, not claiming any historicity, just my own crazy bent). The base is a place for my mug.

I post this as an idea starter in case it captures some of what you are envisioning. If it helps give you and Harry ideas, great. I'm not soliciting business...not if you want it in your lifetime!

Thanks. I'd do it a little different next time, but it works for me. I just like to make things for myself when I can.

    Top secret .

Actually, it's a variety of techniques I have developed over time for finishing reproduction furniture...off topic and too much for posting in an online forum on shaving. If you're interested, you can see more (and better) examples, at www.dlucaschairmaker.com. See the close-ups clickable from the "Chairs" page. I need to update with some better quality photos, but you'll get the idea.
