    Yes, reserving judgement is a good idea. Give it at least 2-3 weeks of every day use to break in. You may be surprised at the difference that makes.

    Use it and abuse it . It takes a beating, aggressive lathering and brush loading only makes them better and softer. Hard soap pucks are conquered and produce rich lathers. I think they are great shaving brushes the nay sayers wont convince me otherwise.

    This is mine. Much more "paint brush", then my other brushes (even the horse hair) but that is why I went with it.
