I understand completely!
Differences of opinion are what makes the world go 'round. Life would be very boring if we all thought the same...
I've got a fair number of brushes, like a lot of gents here ... When a new M&F shows up on my doorstep unannounced, it's a surprise for me. Further, I'm an Anglophile, and I like everything Retro.. so the English brands of long ago appeal to me, particularly when one must jump through hoops to get one! I doubt if this will be my last Morris & Forndran, as I foresee an Alibaba in my future..
I loved, and love, my Simpsons also, but IMO, inless one wants Best hair, which I don't, they are pricing themselves out of the market a bit .. £209 plus shipping is getting a bit high .. for me at least ... but, as they say, to each his own!

Thanked: 1081Yep, Simpsons are geting very pricey and the added VAT here in blightly makes them unreasonable for some who want the manchurian. M&F are almost a bargain compared!
As I said I'd love and M&F but I couldn't bare the chase.

I've said this before, and been told he really does make them, but I just found it stretching credulity that the guy who owned the Rooney Shaving Brush Company is tying string around knots and assembling them, like the ladies in that old Simpson video on youtube ........
OTOH, I guess he is like some of our own members who have a passion for turning out shaving brushes. I love the darn things, but I have no desire at all to make them. Different strokes for different folks.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I have also tried contacting Lee via email, approximately, three times in the past 3-4 fours, but I have never heard back.
Fortunately, I have been able to acquire a few of his brushes via BST or friends and they were some of the best brushes I have used. Nonetheless, I have given up trying to contact him as Shavemac has exceptional knots and they are very professional in responding to inquires and emails.Laughter, Love, & Shaving

Thanked: 1081Congratulations bill.
Lee may be an elusive so and so but he sure makes a beautiful brush.
