The old Rooney Finest, made before the Heritage line came out, was scritchy ....... at least on my face it is. Shortly after Lee brought out the Heritage line the finests disappeared and the word was that he couldn't access the hair anymore ...... whatever that was about.
Yes Stefan, Lee was Rooney when the FInest and the Heritage line were produced. I heard he was M&F as well, but I don't know that for a fact.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That's a nice brush - I'm going to be hunting for one of those soon, turns out while I thought I liked "scritchy", I actually prefer solid backbone with silky smooth tips.
They are actually sold in a shaving store (as I'm sure you gentlemen know), walk in only, in Pasadena California, they have a great selection there and won't be talked into shipping, and unfortunately, it's a tad too long of a morning walk for me.
Val from the Gentleman's Den has a Paladin PK-47, say's it's incredible, his favorite badger brush. I read that the name comes from an eating contest and 47 is the number that he ate.
Congrats on a legendary brush. Sweet.
