    Default Mild detergent?

The instructions that came with my Thater said to wash the brush with mild detergent once a month. What classifies as mild detergent?

Dishwashing soap. Dawn, Joy etc. I have used them for years with no issues

If you go into your local supermarket they sell these "detergents" made for people with extremely soft water. They are mostly true soap and very gentle. All these modern detergents no matter what they call them are just a collection of chemicals. You can also get some soapberry which isn't real soap but behaves like it and would be excellent for brushes. You have to google that.

Ditto... a little Dawn in a glass of water.

Though I have to say... I wash my brushes twice when I buy them, and then never do it again. So far, anyway.

Cool thanks guys. It gives me some good ideas.

It's a beauty of a brush the girlfriend got me so I want to baby it. I only use it once or twice a week as is. For when I want a luxury shave.

Use a soap that you would use on your own hair. Badger is a natural hair just like yours.

It was a very nice gift from her! She's a keeper. Here's a pic of the brush I have to say it looks better in real life.

And.... No but she's got a brother that is a little fruity.. I'm not quite sure about him.. But he doesn't have a job.. So don't expect gifts.. Hahah
