    Default 2 Vintage Handle Re-Knots

I just acquired two vintage Ever-Ready handles from a friend. He was kind enough to remove the old knot and prep them. I put new knots in them, one from TGN and one from Whipped Dog. Here they are before, pre-bloom, and post-bloom shots. I shaved with them the past two mornings. They are both excellent face latherers.

Both look good but the Ever Ready 50R handle catches my more.

They both came out very nice. Is it hard to reknot a brush? I just know with in a year I will probably give it a try along with honing. I promised myself to learn to SR shave for a year before venturing off to new horizons.

P101-Actually, it is not that hard, if you are handy, have a drill, a dremel, and some 2-part epoxy. I do not have a dremel so a friend prepped them for me. If you go to the Brush Makers forum here you will find a lot of help as will a Google search.
