Thater silvertip (24 or 26mm) is the sweet spot for me, even over their 2-band. I had 2 pure brushes (not Thater) early on and wouldn't buy another. I'm too old to deal with a scritchy brush.

I wonder what our Great, Great, Grandfathers would have said about a scritchy brush?

My grandfather would have asked me what "scritchy" means,, I would have told him,,,, he would have then slapped me & said , "Don't act like a pu$$y!"

But,,,,,

Gramps is gone & yes, I have scritchy brushes,,,

Thater silvertip is my suggestion. A little pricey and I almost went for the cheaper one but the silvertip is really soft with good backbone. In my case I made the right choice even though it was more than I originally intended to spend.
