In the picture, I noted that most of the brushes were of the ivory color. That seemed a little bland. I didn't realize that some are real ivory! I found a thread in which he stated that he paid $2k for one large Plisson in ivory. He had a smaller Plisson to match. Apparently these aren't the only real ivory handled brushes in his collection. I also saw a thread where he showed his 5 Chubby 3's.

Still excited about my Chubby 2 synthetic.

There is a guy on TSN that has 7 Chubby 3 Manchurian, serious collection. They are amazing brushes by the way.

Yes, Chubby 3's all in Manchurian. The owner bought 3 of them in the Black Friday Sale! I bet that package was fun to open. I might have to start putting aside a little $ for next year's sale.

Yes, I think he was selling the butterscotch, ebony and cobalt ch3s very recently. Roughly $350 each, so he could get some other colors. Its a shame to break up that impressive lineup. Judging from the density of my ch2 synthetic, there must be a whole badger's hair stuffed into a ch3.

I've been debating contacting them for a ch3 in manchurian. It's hard to justify a new brush at the moment. I have a nos iwasaki tamahagane kamisori en route...
