Wow, you must be lucky. If you google rooney shedding you'll find lots of complains from people. Also, Executive Shaving, a UK vendor has this on their website:

"We no longer sell Rooney Shaving Brushes, this has been the case since early 2010.

Up until that time we enjoyed a good relationship with Rooney but when we MyCompany Quarterly Reported problems with some brushes shedding hairs, Rooney stopped returning our calls and emails.

Executive Shaving had to refund and exchange many brushes leaving us £100s out of pocket. We decided to sell off our remaining Rooney stock with a 50% discount and a warning that some brushes may be 'shedders'.

The owner of Rooney brushes was always very wary about where the brushes were made and by whom. Are they made in England? If so, where?

Today, The Executive Shaving Co Ltd stock high quality shaving brushes such as Simpson, Vulfix and Muhle. We also sell a range of own branded Executive Shaving brushes most of which are made in England by a well known and highly respected manufacturer; while some are lathe turned by a Scottish guy who does specially commissioned work for us using imported badger hair heads."
