So those of you with your custome Livis and Williams... you gotta have something to GO with it right?

Silvertip extra eh? Never heard that one before. You could buy a plisson High white for less just not that large.

That same site has ocean algae soap...intriguing. Although I'm trying to steer away from things with names like hydroxy-methylpentylcycolohexencarboxaldehyd.

Thanked: 9This is old news, you guys.
For the record, the same badger hair is used in the B&B Finest Silvertip. It sold for 110 as a "super deal" and Joel said it should actually sell for $400 - 500
I had it in ebony, it did lather very well but the knot was not too dense, many hairs were cut at the tips, was too floppy for me (despite claims it will have serious backbone) and on top of this a bit prickly. Overall wasn't all that. I sold it at a slight loss and was not disappointed by this as much as I was by the expectations that were build before its release. On the other hand, many people on B&B bought more than one and sang high praises Obviously YMMV.
Anyway, this carbon beauty is DEFINITELY not worth the $ if we are talking badger. Carbon handle - sure, I like it.
Cheers
Ivo
PS - My custom Little Cutie from Matt (super silvertip, ivory handle) goes much better with my custom Williams (ivory scales too)
