Thread: Brush of the week

This is my brush. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my brush is useless. Without my brush, I am useless. I must use my brush true. My brush and I know that what counts in the shaving war is not the soap we use, the preshave routine we use, or the loft or diameter or pedigree of the brush. We know that it is the lather quality that counts. We will lather.

Consider this a new feature. Like the brush of the day or week or month or whatever. A place to tell us all about your favorite brush or brushes. Pictures are required and you can wax poetically about your treasure.

This will be a continuing thread.

This is MY brush
There are NONE like it.
It reminds me that I have children in this life that love me.
It reminds me that I have real friends.
It was made by one of them.
It will never leave me.
It is beautiful.

Today's brush is from Anthony Mackenzie, Jr. A knot he does not get anymore, his "Lights" knot. Lovely knot and brush.
