    Default Wontshed

Shop up the street from me has a 'Wontshed' brush for $16. Knot is scritchy but it's slightly loose and something in the handle is rattling. Never done a restore on a brush before. Are they hard to take apart? Just trying to decide if i want it.. budget is limited lately since I'm in a huge apartment by myself now.. Handle is orange and cream. Should have got a pic. Thoughts?

    I assume it's a vintage brush. I'd guess it's boar.

Check out the alcove and you'll meet a bunch of guys with much experience tearing down brushes.

I found a few threads discussing how to remove and reknot a brush. I think ill grab that brush next time I'm up that way. Can't hurt to try and learn some new tricks.
