Decent brush deal
I was just looking at Zenith best badger brushes on ebay, found one I liked for $35 and was about to check out with the BIN option and a coupon popped up for $10 off at check out.
pretty cool out of nowhere, was buying the brush anyway. seller is jankdc , never bought from them before, but may be worth a look.Last edited by AKmik; 08-19-2016 at 04:13 AM.

I actually messaged that seller...he's got some nice brushes at a great price.
I asked him if these were Chinese knots, and he said they were handmade. He mentioned they don't have the consistency of the higher end brushes, but on the whole they were very nice...if I didn't have enough brushes to make my own badger I'd get one to try....they look great.

I am glad to hear this, I was kind of flying blind. Was comparing two of them and and grabbed the bigger. Total cost with shipping was $27.99, not too shabby.
Should be an upgrade from what I have now.Last edited by AKmik; 08-19-2016 at 04:42 AM.

Zenith has been reported as being a pretty nice brush, especially for the money. We're I not knee deep in brushes right now I'd most probably buy one

Mods can you delete the thread? sorry gents. There is NO deal. nice brushes at whatever price listed.
For whatever reason I got a refund after telling the seller "thanks for the great deal". He pm'd me back saying the ebay/pp coupon was wrong and really 10% not $10 , in the end paid $37... lol
He shipped fast, brush is nice but its not the great deal I posted.
Bad info on my part.Last edited by AKmik; 08-26-2016 at 01:27 PM.

The new Manchurian badgers are very nice for a fraction of the price.

Sounds like the old bait and switch tactic. if the coupon on Eboy was $10 you could file a complaint with Eboy. You would win.

Aren't those coupons a E-Bay thing and they give the seller that money so the seller would not be out of anything???? I have seen these from time to time by E-Bay and mainly in the past and it is a deal where E-Bay gives the seller the amount asking but you get the deal. I could be wrong on this however since I do not buy as much on E-Bay as I use to.

update,
All worked out in the end, just miscommunication.
Yes M70,
The coupon was through ebay/pp and it updated at the transaction when the payment went through the second time. Also the seller sent me a couple coupons once I posted feedback, I believe he's a good egg. I think we misunderstood each other in our back and forth PMs , but no worries buying from him if anyone is looking.
Was my mistake, so I don't want to give the wrong impression about the seller.
