Sounds to me your going to have to live with whatever error you made. Or just send it to me so you don't have to look at it.
It's just Sharpening, right?

OK, here's the scoop:
When I used this epoxy, I done 2 knots. 1 knot was a $15 knot (Black Badger), glued in a cheap Satin Tip handle (no big loss). The other, however, is a High Mountain White knot, in a custom handle (BiG loss on both parts.)
NOW for the results:
Steaming: Did not work.
Freezing (for several days in the deep freeze): resulted in an epic fail (see pic below).
End result:
1- $15 knot and $9 handle TRASHED.
1- $80 HMW knot and custom handle= saved! (I guess I'll just have to deal with the depth!)
Thankfully, I 'tested' this epoxy (and ultimately destroyed) the "lesser of the two."
Note to self (and hopefully others): Do NOT use the epoxy in the OG post....unless you are 110% sure of the knot placement.

Thanks for sharing.
I'll not do mine as I think i used the same glue and don't want to take the chance. Next time we both should try hot glue in a handle to stick a knot and give it a go. Then after we know its where we want, it should come out and then glue with the good stuff. Sorry about the cheaper brush getting destroyed but at least you saved the good one! And can save the other handle if you wanted by drilling or drimmel. It's just Sharpening, right?
