Thread: Which Scuttle

I just bought a Vulfix #2234 Super Badger Shaving Brush

Im in need of an opinion of which size scuttle would be best for the size of my brush for proper lathering. Im thinking of either going with a Moss or the Super Scuttle.

The Moss small scuttle will work just fine. Just remember, the Moss scuttle was not designed to be a lathering bowl, but a place to park the brush and keep the lather warm while you are shaving.

+1, and I have the *large*

Definitely not too convenient if you like to build lather in it, even with a medium 22mm knot. Works better with a small 18mm knot.

I lather both on face and in a bowl depending on how I feel about it at any time, and I prefer a larger bowl, not the scuttle for this
