    Default Soap Holders

Oskar has a soap holder on his website that look pretty cool. But on his site hes shows how you grate the soap and pack it in. I have read some posts about melting your soap and pouring it into containers. I just purchased a big order from Mama Bears. How can you tell if your soap can be grated or melted to fit into one of these ceramic storage devices.

Basically, glycerine soaps can be melted, and tripple-milled ones cannot (wel they can but you ruin them.) Mama Bear are fine to melt ... although they come in plastic tubs that work just fine anyhow ... but if you want to transfer the soap to a countertop eyecandy dish, then go for it.

Apparently, you can pop the soap out of the tub by breaking the seal along the edge, and then plop it in the new container ... then 10 second bursts with a microwave, or melt it on slow heat with a double boiler (I'm not familiar with Oscar's soap holder, so dunno if it can be microwaved ... )
