    Default First Synthetic

I got my first synthetic today. A Maggard 36mm. Im really impressed. It's soft, has great backbone, and whipped up a great lather for me. You can't go wrong for $13.95

Congratulations! A 36mm knot for a synthetic. Now, that is a humongous knot!

I was hoping it was a typo! 36MM is huge. What count is you like it. Thats all that matters. but you could lather your whole body in a minute with that size brush. LOL.

That is a relief as a 36mm synthetic would be massive. I would know as I have three badger brushes that are > 36mm, but quite manageable.

I know of a 34 mm synthetic and that is already huge. The one you got is great and at that price ....

I absolutely love my synthetic brush, I got one of those L'Occitane Plisson ones and fell in l*ve.

It's all I've been using for the past couple of years, sad days for all my other brushes that were quite more expensive as well, ruh roh!

Probably a preference thing as well, this one doesn't have that much backbone, but very soft, I dig it

I have the same brush and love it. My other synthetic is a Muhle and it's a nice brush but a smaller size, a 22mm I think. The Maggards 26mm is a better size for me plus it splays easier and is less springy. Wish I had picked a bigger Muhle.
