Thread: Knot impressions

Good evening all,

I'm looking for impressions of the various 2 band knots out there available in the states (TGN, Elite, Maggards, etc).

I'm looking to purchase a 26mm and would like to here from you those that have purchased some of the knots from US vendors

What did you like/dislike on the knots you have used?

I habe an Elite. Its the one that has the tips curled. It feels like a cotton ball after wetting. Soft and great backbone. The only bad tbing is it wont let loose the lather. Its like the lather goes right down deep in the knot and you have to load it a lot more than you should to get the lather out. At the end of the shave i still got a brush full of lather.

But the tips feel so soft its mind blowing. Hope this confuses you even more. Ha.
