    Default Brush for Hercules

    Gentlemen,

A few summers ago I did some stage work in Los Angeles. I managed to take a trip to the Old Town Shaving Company (now closed) in Pasadena. The place had a huge selection of Rooney, Morris and Forndran, Wiborg, among other brushes. The Rooney pictured was in the collection. I don't know the knot size, but that baby was huge. Imagine lathering with it. OY!

Obie, that brush is spectacular! You could lather Chewbacca from head to toe in a heartbeat.

There is also one similar that lust for when I go to Truefitt & Hill, St James street.

See if you can spot it?

Yeah they come in a gallon paint can
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Oz, my friend, would you kindly straighten up the photo? Somehow my computer can't handle it.
    Thanks.

I have always been intrigued with what it would take to lather with that baby.

Oh, that store looks heavenly. Years ago, while in London, I came across a similar store on Jermyn Street. I think it was Taylor of Old Bond Street. Or I have my streets mixed up.
Yes, Chewbacca would do well with that brush.

Well, in the past we've seen the razor that goes with that brush.

Yes, Taylor of Old Bond Street is in Jermyn Street, a delightful shop. They too have a giant brush.

    Mark,
My mind isn't faulty, then. Jermyn Street. Yes, it was a delightful little shop and I wanted to buy everything in there. I see the big brushes. Thanks for the photos, my friend.
