Synthetic by the looks of it. Have you used it yet?

Yes synthetic. I got it at marshalls before the lockdown shut them down. Its decent but I put an o ring on it to make it less floppy that I took off for pics since I was wanting it seen non modded since I was looking to see if anyone had heard of them.

It seems people either love or hate synthetics. I was a hater, but not that long ago I got one that was cheap enough I felt I was happy to pay that price for just the handle, however much to my surprised the know is decent. If you think about it, you can change the loft or knot on a resin handle quite easily so it was a very good price for you for just the handle too, so it was a no risk purchase.

Yes when I got it I thought ahead about if I didn't like it then maybe if need be I could replace the knot with something better. The handle is decent enough and the coating on it helps make it slip resistant..

it looks like the handle opening is 20mm. i measured it and thats about what it measured at the base of knot but without taking the knot out its tough to be absolutely certain and i dont have any knots to replace it or the other couple that need knots that are empty handles ( ones a Rex and the other an Everready) that i have right now ( for some reason i havent gotten a stimulus check and im having to stay at home with the kids ) while my wife is deemed an essential worker so she's working 5 days a week....
