So I got some knots in from Maggard's to put in three of the handles turned for me by my woodworker friend: 24mm 2-Band Badger Fan Knots, to be exact. I seem to be a 24mm guy. They're plenty luxurious size-wise without covering half my head and wasting soap. This time I used silicone adhesive instead of epoxy. They fit perfectly without adding a coin, and
seem to be very secure in the silicone. As you can see from the bloom, I used the ambrosia maple one in the middle already. The modern-looking one on the right is going to replace the 10-year old Tweezerman in the shower for my wife, and the one on the left I'm giving back to the woodworker along with a straight scaled in similar cutoffs that he gave me. As for finish, these got 6 coats of TruOil. I'm debating whether to buff them out or add more coats.

Though these aren't as luxurious as Maggard's SHD brushes (which are my favorite), they are still a solid brush at about half the price of the SHD's.
