Thanked: 1081Kent synthetic
Just picked this up, my first synthetic. Kent have gone all trendy and stopped using badger. I emailed them a year or so ago and they confirmed they will no longer produce anymore natural bristle. Shame as they have been producing handmade brushes since 1777 and have held a number of Royal Warrents.
I'm going to use it for my Sunday shave so will let you know how I get on.

Pity about no more natural bristle. Hope it works well for you Mark.

Thanked: 1081Thanks, Paul. I used it today and am mightily impressed. I love the handle shape and feel in the hand. The build quality is excellent, the face feel is what I'd describe as springy soft, different from a badger but very soft and produces an easy thick, dense lather using Castle Forbes.
It won't be my last synthetic, starting to think about a Simpsons now

Thanked: 1081I've used this brush a fair few times now and still mightily impressed. It works well with creams and soaps. I can't see it replacing my premium badgers but from a cost viewpoint it is exceptional.
