Default looking for str8s, got a scuttle!!

okay, so wife gotta a haircut today. i went antiquing. i found @ 6 str8s, but none worth the money or effort. only one i really liked had beautiful carved scales, but $38.50 for a rusted 4/8. no way, and only 15% off. c-ya.

so still perusing, i came across the following scuttle and matching brush. i did not take a pic of the brush, but i think it is nice. my wife says a little 'girlie' on the image, but a lot of scuttles are to me.

i am also including a pic of my lather bowl and a makeshift scuttle from an aromatherapy diffuser

oh the secrets that arise of meeting someone in person.

yeah, this scuttle was bought a while back, but i have enjoyed it over the last few weeks. i would like to pick up a couple more, but not fond of the moss or the 'superscuttle' as i have heard it called. i like the more traditional(girly as SHMBO calls it) pieces.

even though I use cremes as well as soaps I like the original styles as well I have one or two that my parents ( antique collectors ) found. One is a cool looking ironstone piece that has a brush rest and the other is a mug/skuttle that is nice as well. Right before Christmas my mother was telling me that all hey could find was pieces that were rather feminine. I kept trying to tell her that they were like that and I didn't care. They kept searching and actually found a few items that were not feminine....lol

I have a similar to the one on the right, except mine is blue. Looks like the same scene.
