There ar no pics as it's a new product for them and it is handthrown till they make a mold.

    So MATTMIKE!

YEP, I chose Hamada & Persimmon. Here are colors and patterns

His bowl was the first of four that they made (threw). It was a bowl within a mug. sealed all round cept for a small lipped opening to get the hot water in. The newest iteration is ~ 4 in wide and ? deep wih ridges on the bottom for lather production. It's deep enough so that lather doesn't splatter over the top and is sized so big brushes can swirl away...

The folk at the pottery are Lori, jeff and Jess.
This info is from my notes that I took from the post when I was thinking about ordering.
    BTW
I never heard of Georgetown Pottery till a few days ago and this post. The PICS were very good. The cost is ~$40 plus $8 shipping. an added plus to my order now is that the piece is handthrown I remember that it takes ~ 4 weeks to finish it for shippng. I remember te thread said they were gona make a mold because demand was so great. They now know that there is a world of wetshavers out here.

If this is the one you are looking for here are the pics again. I don't think I can remember the whole review.

It's similar to that if the two pieces were joined and it has a handle. it's deeper and wider that the pictured one. no pour spout or brush rest that I see here.
I hope some of the guys post a pic before I get mine
    hahahaha

Josh Earl last posted in it cause I have the email response to a thread...

It'll crop up as folk become aware of the outage.

There are two similar pieces at a local high end gift store near me and I thought of buying them just before Christmas, but went for a scuttle....may have to pick them up.

This looks like it would work just fine and easier to empty and clean. Nice!
