Thread: Redneck Scuttle

okedokey, saw a really cool Moss Scuttle at the DFW get together last weekend and liked the idea, but looked up the price tag and wasn't a huge fan. So, I headed down to the hardware store and did a sweet substitute.

They fit together perfectly, conduct heat rather well, the inner vessel is roughly textured (feels a tad rougher than a 1200 grit waterstone), and best of all, costs six bucks.

Anyone else try this?
