Default Neat little bowl... (warning: large pics, dialup guys be warned)

I have been using a coffee mug for as long as I can remember. So today I was out at Target, and saw this little bowl. It was $2 so I thought it might look better on the counter than my "Bada Bing" mug. LOL I figure it should be good for the larger size of soaps. I am gonna break it in tonight and see how it does.

It is 4 inches (11cm) at the rim, and 2.5 inches (6.2cm) tall.

    Just thought I would share.

    It was great.

I let it soak in hot water for about five minutes while I stropped, and got everything in place. Then I just massed down a softened soap cake in the bottom.

LATHER for days! Held the heat really well, and gave me so much more room to work with the brush(over the Bade Bing mug).

As soon as I get my brush, I'm going out to Target to get a bowl that'll properly accomodate it.

make that +1 for me also. i love the size of it. good for creams. i would rather use something a little rougher for soaps. but you can't beat it for the money.

As for making it rougher, really its cheap enough that is you got one and roughed it up with some sandpaper. Some 80 grit should get it nice and textured. Might have to pick up another one and try it out.
