    Default new brush stand

after seeing an olivewood brush stand by denmason/dennis, i really wanted to make something for my brush, as cheap as it was. in the meantime i now have acquired a nice dovo silvertip. and i really wanted to store this one hanging down. so instead of breaking down and buying a cheap stand, i made this one. eventually i will cut some slots in the rear to store razors, but for now i like it. i think it is walnut(i forget). impulse buy. and no, i did not turn the columns.

    thanks for the inspiration dennis.

Really nice,,,,now go make some cutouts to store those razors in the back, that would make it even better.

    Nice work!

That wood looks more like cherry than walnut, but it's a neat project either way.

Ok already...I admit it, I have separation anxiety...Thats my baby up there!

There, I admitted it! I feel like such a bad father, trading my baby for three W & B shirts

In all seriousness I really like the shirts, but you better treat my baby good!

it may be cherry. i ripped off the tag as soon as i got home and started marking it up. if it is cherry, will it darken out in the sun faster? i will leave it outside while i work in the yard for a few days.

yes JMS, this is the whole reason for the stand. needed something proper for that wonderful brush. i thank you again.

as for 3x3, i use intuitive F2L. i still have issues with my 1st cross, and sometimes the 2 look last layer. i know about 10 OLL and all 21 PLL and was avg-ing about 50-55 sec last week. my brand new eastsheen 2x2 and 5x5 just came in!! so nice. still learning them both, but very fun.

    thanks all for the comments.
