    Default looking for brush stand

So, I kind of htought of making my own brush stand, except I dont have the tools seeing as I live in a dormroom.

I have a cheap boars bristle brush from CVS, but still want to treat it with respect and hang it. I've looked around, but they are so freakin expensive. Where have you guys found them, or what do you use?

I dont need anything made of gold... I dont really like ceramic, but I cant justify spening $30 for a stand to invert a brush :\

Tie a string around it and hang it from a screw.

Also, I have always stood my brushes up on their base, with no ill effects. They are always dry by the next day. Capillary action will dry it either way, unless you put it away soaking wet.

If you don't have the doe rae me then go cheap... just bend one up out of an old coat hanger. I did. I think B&B had a thread on making your own equipment or it might have been here. Total cost nothing.

Treat it nice. I had one and it was plastic. I sat it on the counter and the top started to bow from the weight of the brush. After a couple of months I tried to streighten it up and POW, the top broke. So much for that $5.
