Inexpensive Shave Mugs...
I was helping the wife return some curtains at Anthropologie (I know, I know...I was out of bamboo to wedge under my finger nails) and while there I spied a stack of mugs that were monogrammed with single letters. The Price? $6! They are big and deep so you need a longer handled brush. It is 2 3/4" inner diameter at the narrowest point and stands 4" high with an inner depth of 3 1/2" They are made to resemble the old apothecary style mugs. I show it next to my super gnome 6/8 and with a new puck of Col conks bay rum (2 1/4 oz puck). I plan on heating it up with hot water and transferring my lather from my lather bowl into it. I will up date this on Tue April 22 when I shave again and let everyone know how it does. Happy Hunting.

Thanked: 369I have been looking for mugs exactly like these, but blanks without any decals. I can barely read the stamp on the bottom, but looks like "Made in China". Any other manufacturer info?
Thanks
Scott

Sorry Honed, It says "dishwasher and microwave safe" has a picture of a bird, and then Made in China. That is it.

Shaved with it last night! I microwave water to get it really hot and then use it to soak a towel and build lather etc. I stuck the mug filled with water in the microwave and an additional mug to fill the thermos I use to keep the water hot while I shower. Built lather in a lather bowl that was pre heated and transferred to the mug after I emptied it of hot water. The lather stayed hot for two passes and was warm enough for a third. (I haven't graduated to ATG passes yet). Good little mug for how I shave!
