Thread: new shave mug!!!

while antiqueing this weekend, picked up this great new mug for all of $3.00. i was not actively looking for a new mug, but saw this and the price and had to jump on it. even at antique stores i normally see these for around $20+. hey, even SWMBO agreed and gave approval. had to buy it then.

on a side note, i also picked up this original early 80's rubik cube. the one missing the center cap. if you look at the difference in the red and orange colors from the one below, that is one indicator. looks like it was never played with, but still managed to lose a center cap. sorry, but i was excited about that also.

Nice cubes. I still have my cube from when I was a tyke, but most of the stickers are missing and those that remain are faded. I still can't figure out what a 2x2 cube would be.

Rubik's cubes and Slinkies are in the same camp with me. I F'd them up as soon as I played with them and they never were back to original condition.

i picked this one up outside of tyler visiting the grandparents. there are antique stores all over, but they get picked through pretty regularly. there is a decent place at 75 and midpark next to hooters that usually has a bit of shave gear. mostly cups and brushes, and a few overpriced poor shape razors. been watching to many johnny depp movies.

keep looking, somethimes they just.....appear.
