    Default razor roll

I received this beautiful razor roll made by cross with my ebay purchase of the razors in this photo. Unfortunately the stitching is falling apart and the tanning on the outside is starting to fall away. I plan on attacking the worn exterior with some sandpaper to give it a brushed look and make it look like the inside. Has anyone got one of these in good condition or does anyone make new ones like this? I thought that I saw a thread at some point that Tony Miller was looking at making some of these.

Mm, RRAD ... will be interesting to see if Tony or another of our SRP craftsmen weighs in on this.

    Cool thanks for that.

Though umm errr doesn't the price seem a bit high? I could see paying $50.00 for something like this. Considering how simple it would be to manufacture. Deer skin ain't expensive.

I figure I could sew up 2-3 of these from a single hide.

I am in the process of having some razor rolls made up. I am not sure what the price will be yet but will keep everyone informed.

I don't sew. So, I'll have to pay for the convenience. I have a friend who fell off his roof putting some shingles on it..., wonder how that worked out for him.

    Kind regards,

Not to sabotage any deals, but have you checked with your local boot repair shop? I'm sure they could re-stitch the origional, and cost much less than a new one.
