Thanked: 2Delong Brush Source
http://drclarkstore.com/shaving-brush-delong.html
There has been much talk of these brushes...this website sells them for $2.50 and $2.50 for shipping. I just ordered three (shipping was still $2.50). If these are the same large size as the ones that were reviewed and formerly available on eBay, this would be probably the most freakingly awsome brush deal ever identified.

This would be a incredible deal. I tried to import from DeLong directly and the Federal Fish and Game Service seized my sample.
It states that I was in violation of the endangered species act. I'm sending them a copy of the catalog listing.

I've been looking at importing from them for my site, and it looks like It would require a special permit to import badger hair... Still doing research, but until I can wade through the red tape, and know My order will arrive, no can do...
They are good quality brushes, it's a shame our government is so picky.

It was quite a shock when I got the call from UPS about the seizure. Then a real eye opener when I got the first letter. Then the second letter started me fuming. Get this, the USF&WS puts a value of $65.00 on the brush. I guess it is like the Air Forces $400.00 hammer. I just wonder if it is because the brush is from China? It's not like we are trying to import raw material or untreated hides. Oh well, our tax dollars at work.

Need to get The Big Spender in this thread to see if there is any course of action for you to take. Seems like they need to show you exactly which regulation you broke and how in a timely manner or they have violated you rights to property, at the very least they need to adjust the value based upon the price paid, as I assume you have a receipt.
And people wonder why I'm a Libertarian
