    Default The Scuttle Has Landed!

Here it is, at long last, my first complete shaving set. It will be in an art show this Sunday, 6/22 at the Unitarian Church in Westport, CT:

All pieces I will be showing will be for sale. 25% of my proceeds will be given to charities.

Not really something I would pic for me, but it certainly works together and looks great.

The brush and stand are certainly unique, but the scuttle itself looks just about perfect. Where'd you get it?

Thanks all. That is a Georgetown Pottery scuttle. I am very pleased with it, not only because it matches my set, the craftsmanship is outstanding.

It is a fine looking set up. Wouldn't go with my decor, or lack of, but it is well done.

It looks great(er) when its all together. Nice job. I'm going to be out of town - otherwise I would like to have made the art show

I'm sorry the show is but one afternoon. I heard Paul Newman is sick, I'm hoping he'll be able to make it.

    Hey Lee,

Thanks for the compliment and thanks for asking. Yeah man, I am always thinking about the next project. I have many things lined up, some in a state of partial completion. Right now getting ready for an art show Sunday and the rules of recovery from the latest sugery prevent me from lifting anything over 5 lbs (I think that is ridiculos but I'm trying). So, in the "under 5 lb department" I have a whole new line of brushes and matching stands already drawn and I have s very interesting sculpture that should be finished tonight. I will post a picture of it (this one, titled Robert is going to make folks wonder).

I am still trying to decide if I will be attending the furniture show at SUNY Purchase that Harrelson Stanley (the Shapton guy) is coming here for. It's a good thing I am out of work. I have no time for such frivolities.

    Brad
