Thread: I feel dirty...

Just got my Dirtybird scuttle in.

Julie at Dirtybird pottery does very nice work, quick shipment, packed extremely well for shipping. Excellent craftsmanship on her scuttles, the fit and finish on it is top-notch. I was going to go for a Georgetown pottery scuttle, but I caught sight of one of these. The main body of the scuttle has much more "belly" than a GP scuttle, and thus it holds about 4 times more hot water than a GP, increasing your heat resivoir capacity.

Ridges inside the lather bowl to increase your swirlerocity factor bt at least 50%.

I'm still getting used to my Rooney Alibaba (it really sucks up the water and lather), so the pic is a bit tame on the lather factor when I snapped the pic. I went back and juiced it up the acceptable levels before shaving.

Definitely nice to have warm lather for all of your passes. Looking forward to the Fall and Winter shaving with my new potbellied scuttle!
