Giving up the PJ2
I have decided that I want a new brush. The PJ2 I have been using has been quite good to me but I want something new and different. So I am selling the PJ2 in the classifieds and am going to use some of the money to buy a new brush. I want something denser but scrubby, and if possible to use with creams. Though most of its use will be for soap. I saw good things on the Rooney 1/1 and 3/1 multiple times, and this may be the brush I get. I have also heard good things about the Saville Row line as well as shavemac. I know people are going to tell me to hold onto the PJ2 but I am not sure it is the best brush for me. It is the only badger brush I have used to date. So can anyone sell me on a brush in particular? Try to keep the price at 110 or less if possible.

I got one of the 23mm bulb shaped shavemacs from the SRP group buy and have been delighted with the brush. It is a lot firmer than the dovo handmade that I have that seemed a bit floppy and much less dense after having used the shavemac and I haven't had any problems making lots of lather with it. I use both soaps and cream, I have a lot of mama bear's soaps and one remaining TGQ soap and I also have some creams. No problems there, I was really surprised at how good of a brush the shavemac seemed for the price. I've only used the shavemac and dovo as yet though and an omega bristle brush that I really don't like.
