    Looks very sweet indeed.

I have to admit, my first thought when I saw the subject line was, "I would never want to try to brush a badger's teeth!"

I've been wondering about that, too... when I saw these I got interested in getting one for myself. But I'd like to know if anyone here uses these or has used something like it. I wonder if the last as long as synthetic brushes...

    Wow!!!!
I had no idea such a thing existed.
I guess on the bright side if the bristles end up tasting like a badger's butt, or what one might imagine a badger's butt to taste like, then it could be relegated to the weirdest precision shaving brush ever!
Is anyone going to pull the trigger on this thing? Personally, I'm half (hell, three quarters)- of the way tempted to buy a couple of them!

I have one, and I am using it right now. Sorry to disappoint you guys....but it has no badger taste or smell. But then again, that would be a good thing. Since it is a toothbrush, it has been properly prepared for its intended purpose.

So, on to how it works....it works like a champ, that is for sure. It is very soft, but in a good way. The bristles splay out so you don't need to use a lot of pressure. It really brushes your teeth, as opposed to the scrubbing they get when you use a nylon toothbrush, if that makes any sense. It is kind of hard to explain, so if you are curious, I'd say you can get one for yourself to see. Whole Foods carries them. They're made by Swissco, and run around $5-6. Swissco also makes bristle brshes, which are also very good, and they come in soft, medium, and firm styles if you'd want something other than just soft, which is your only option with the badger hair.

I almost forgot. They last a good bit longer than synthetic brushes do. I've had mine for a few months and I can't tell any noticeable difference. The only thing I can say against is it that it might lose a few bristles at the first brushing, but after that, you'll be fine.

Hope this helps....and if you get one, you gotta try it with the Waleda Salt toothpaste....pure heaven right there.

Gosh, I saw this post and thoughts of “Have you ever seen a badger with bad teeth” and “the badger funk” naturally came to my twisted mind but I can see I was not nearly original or as cute as I thought I was. Or how about cracks about the tortoise and the (badger) hare?
