    some of the stiffest brushes I have come across are the Rooney 1/1 and 1/2 in Finest....might wanna check that out.

    Agreed, I have the 1/1 in Finest and it's perfect. The bristles have a lot of backbone, but the tips are not scratchy. It kicks butt with soaps and gives the face a gentle massage.

    Rooney Alibaba fan here. Very dense and will work lather into every pore.

    Super nice brush.


    As mentioned, look for short loft brushes.

    ive check'd the Roony's nice , very expensive for a brush,
