This looks so cool, way to think outside the box boys.
Mixing the crock and poormans double boiler might be the key

MercV12, can you provide us with any more information at all yet? Seems like the thread is still a bit in the dark as to where to find this item.

Thanked: 6a new scuttle?
Ok so it seems everyone is trying to think outside the box and find the perfect way to heat lather while also being cheap and maintaining asthetics...
So I happen to find this hutch cup bowl:

Hutch Cup Bowl - Heated 1qt (25 Watts #90)
I know, I know its a dog bowl but its the first and only small heated steel bowl ive found online...I have no idea how hot the temperature would be and if it would even heat lather but it just might work....might...
Any ideas?
Im not crazy, just want the HOTTEST lather possible...

That's not bad at all. Like you mentioned, the big question will be "how hot does it get?", and considering that it's designed for a pet to drink from, I'd suspect it's not that hot Some solid creative thinking though
I think I'm going to poke around the ole Intarweb, and see what else I run across
